Paola High School

The Paola High School community provides an opportunity for learning experiences, which stimulate continual educational growth appropriate to the students’ individual future goals.  Students in this learning community are challenged to meet or exceed academic standards, be respectful of the values of others, prepare for career opportunities, and beware of the responsibilities of community, state, nation, and world citizenship.

The current Paola High School was opened in 1992.  There are approximately 700 students that range from grades 9 – 12.  Also, there are 52 certified teachers and 18 non-certified staff members.  Paola High School is a 4A classification that is very proud of our strong academics, as well as, fine arts department and athletic programs. Currently, classes are based on a four by four block schedule.  Classes meet for 85 minutes every other day.   Paola High School also provides the opportunity for its students to participate in various clubs and activities.
