Practices: Will be every Tuesday and Thursday after school form 3:20 to 4:20 or before school from 7:20 to 7:50. To be eligible for competition, players must complete 3 hours of practice and attend either the morning or afternoon practice before the tournament. If a team member does not attend one of the practices prior to the competition, he or she will be replaced by an alternate player.
Lettering: To letter, students must attend a minimum of 80% of the practices, correctly answer 25 tournament questions, and participate in the PHS varsity tournament. Our varsity tournament will be held after school on January 28, 2011. Students can help set up rooms, participate as team members, timers, scorekeepers, or help in the office.
State Competition: Any student is eligible to participate in the state tournament held at the beginning of February. Any team member interested must attend the qualifying round prior to competition. Students will be asked three rounds of questions and will write down their answers. The top 6 students with correct answers will qualify to attend.
