Concurrent Enrollment

A representative from Fort Scott Community College will be here August 22 from 11 to 1 and August 23 from 2:25 to 4:30 to sign up for concurrent enrollment for the 2012 - 2013 school year.

If you need to take the COMPASS call 294.4178 to arrange a time with Fort Scott.

Here is a schedule of Spring 2012 concurrent classes offered at Paola High School (PHS). For more information on concurrent credit classes look at the Spring 2012 Brochure.

Enrolling for concurrent credit courses through PHS and Fort Scott Community College (FSCC) is a several step process and must be completed on or before January 13, 2012.

1. You should determine which high school classes you wish to receive college credit for.

2. Apply online at www.fortscott.edu. This must happen so that you are assigned a Fort Scott ID number and are processed into their system.

3. Complete a paper enrollment form.

4. Consult with a PHS counselor prior to getting Mr. Bressler's signature.

5. Provide FSCC with a copy of your ACT scores (must be 21 or higher for all courses: Reading, Writing, Math, Science) or make an appointment to take the COMPASS exam. You must provide proof of scores before you enroll.

6. Payment made to FCSS.
