Menu Accommodations for Special Diets
Federal law requires all School Food Authorities to make substitutions for meals for children with a disability that restricts the child’s diet on a case-by-case basis and only when supported by a written statement from a State licensed healthcare professional. Food & Nutrition Services is prepared to assist families and students by providing reasonable meal accommodations prescribed by an authorized medical authority to accommodate a child’s disability.
